New Balance have redelivered us a fresh restock of their ever popular M990GRY. This years reissue of the coveted silhouette has hit our shelves and online store in a number of sizes to keep those of you that missed out sorted. Crafted from a slew of premium leathers and suedes, the M990GRY is wrapped in grey, accented by white leather tones and stitching before sitting atop it's signature Vibram outer sole unit. Just as they were in their yesteryear, you can now grab the M990GRY in store and online in limited numbers with all of the finer details after the jump.


April 17th, 2015

Monitaly have delivered their latest with an exclusively crafted Mountain Parka and Hockey Tee. Crafted from vintage 1950's army shelter tents in Los Angeles California, we've come together with Monitaly to wrap their signature Mountain Parka for this season. Exclusive to Up There, each Parka Jacket features raglan sleeve construction with pelted shoulder seams, a series of patch pockets and double needle construction. The 88' and 12' 3/4 Sleeve Hockey Tees are crafted in the United States, and feature a classic hockey jersey remade into a t-shirt. Each of them feature  a series of panelling across the 3/4 sleeves in accenting colours before been finished with numeral motifs in an accenting flocked fabric. Crafted at the hands of their footwear artisan's Yuki Matsuda's team at Yuketen have delivered their latest rendition of their Maine Guide Boots. Coming to us in a Natural Vegetal Tan finish, these low cut ox Maine Guides feature tried and tested American construction utilising traditional moccasin stitching through the finest leathers that can be sourced before been welted to Vibram's signature Christy sole unit. Finished in Natural Vegetable Tanned leathers, each pair is ready to develop all of the character and patina of day in day out wear and tare for a lifetime to come ageing gracefully through the suns rays with each outing.

To coincide with the release of New Balance's holy grail the M1300JP, New Balance have come together with Japanese mainstays 2ND Magazine to document the history of not only the M1300JP, but the brand itself. In almost like an almanac styled read start to finish, the 'New Balance Book' features an in depth look at the M1300JP from it's detailed roots and all of its iterations over the years. Each page is filled with documentation and timelines of each of New Balance's silhouettes as well as the individuals that wear, design, and craft each pair. Although not all of you may be able to read Japanese, the New Balance Book is filled with hefty imagery from back to front to keep you well informed on all things New Balance. Los Angeles based leather artisans Parabellum have delivered their latest series of wallets in both Courier and Bifold makeups. Coming to us in Burgundy, Emerald, Navy, Pumpkin, and Tobacco, this season's Courier Wallets have been downsized, with the minimalistic take on their signature Courier Wallet featuring an interior card case wrapped in richly textured Bison leather and sealed surely with heavy duty zips and ceramic black hardware. Their 6 Card Bifold Wallets come to us in Black, Burgundy, Navy, and Pumpkin and as their name suggests feature 6 interior card slots, as well as two half sleeves, and note pocket perfect for local and international currencies worldwide. Lined with calf leather and strengthened with kevlar to finish it all off. This season's range is now available in store and online with all of the finer details after the jump.

Le Coq Sportif and Sneakers N' Stuff have come together to collaborate on the classic Flash silhouette with the 'Dunderklumpens'. Taking inspiration from one of the first ever Swedish animated movies under the same moniker. The Dunderklumpen Flash's combine the vibrant colours of the movies main character wrapped the upper in a wash of pastel teal and blue with a flare of yellow to top it all off. Each pair is constructed from a slew of premium leathers complete with tonal stitching, micro perforated toe box, and embossed detailing to add the collaborative branding and Le Coq Sportif's signature crest.

The Le Coq Sportif x Sneakers N' Stuff 'Dunderklumpen' will hit our shelves this Saturday the 18th of April at our McKillop Street store from 11am with any remaining pairs releasing online from 12pm the same day. Mr. Mannequin is back in action, traipsing about town in this week's selections from our latest deliveries. Putting together a combination of Norse Projects, Needles, and Yuketen to tackle the week ahead. Starting it all off this week pairing Norse Projects' Notch Light Wool Blazer in Navy, with Needles' Rebuilt 7 Cut Shirt in Indigo. Heading down to the lower half of this week's outfit and Mr. Mannequin's opted for a pair of Norse Project's Thomas Cropped Light Wool Pant in Navy before finishing off this week's outfit with Yuketen's Christy Soled Loafer in Camo. Adidas Originals are set to unleash a slew of their latest silhouettes with a duo of Tubular and ZX Flux Weave in a tonal black finish. The Tubular Runner features a slew of premium suede and nubuck panneling, playing with tones, and textures with perforated accents. Complete with it's signature neoprene sock liner, and tubular core sole also set in tonal black to finish it all off. The ZX Flux Weave takes the classic ZX silhouette intricately woven to feature a set of tonal contrasting blacks to reveal panelling and three stripes in the one piece upper. Complete with black torsion outersole and bright lime accented lining to finish it all off.

Both the Tubular Runner and ZX Flux Weave will be hitting our shelves this Wednesday the 15th of April. We will have limited numbers of the Tubular style at all of our shops on Wednesday morning, was we know weekday releases can be hard to organise sometimes. The ZX Flux will be exclusive to our Level 1/15 McKIllop St location with any remaining pairs in both styles releasing online from 12pm the same day. Sizes US6 through to US12 will be available for both styles, with the Tubular Runner for $170 and the ZX Flux Weave for $120. Converse's First String division have delivered their latest with the Chuck Taylor 1970 Hairy Suede. Coming to us in Black and Vaporous Grey, each pair of the Chuck Taylors have received a premium finish with a lush and heavily textured suede upper complimented by a premium leather wrapped midsole. Adding to the mix Converse's signature all star emblem embossed to the inner heel, waxed laces, brushed stainless eyelets, and side zipper to finish it all off. Both pairs are now available both in store and online with all of the finer details after the jump.

Nepenthes imprint Needles have delivered their latest series of signature Rebuilt silhouettes. Repurposing vintage garments, Needles have rebuilt silhouettes grafting and stitching pockets, sleeves, and plackets into completely unique and individual garments. First off the bat this season is the Shooters Jacket each featuring a slew of camouflage patterning from vintage hunting pieces contrasting panels and camouflage patterns before been finished with a green cord collar. Continuing with the hunting theme we've got their Parka Jackets which again, feature a slew of contrasting camouflage panels recrafted and fitted with upgraded hardware. Their Banded Collar Shirts see a traditional oxford shirt rebuilt, with pockets, and plackets imperfectly rearranged and resewn into these unique shirts. Not forgetting their signature Seven Cut Rebuild Shirts, this season have taken to the classic dress shirt in White and Indigo splicing seven cuts of different shirts, along with their sleeves, and pockets. Lastly Needles give us their Arrow Jacket. Inspired by vintage mechanics coveralls, each Arrow Jacket features a medium weighted twill body with arrow head details stitched into the welted utility pockets in a slight tonal contrasting thread before been finished with dyed corozo nut buttons. This season's range is now available both in store and online with all of the finer details after the jump.
