This coming Saturday the 1st of October will see the release of the highly anticipated Missoni X Converse collection. Both colour ways of the Chuck Taylor All Star High Top will be available in store and online in extremely limited quantities. Releasing In store at 11:00AM with the remaining pairs releasing online from 12PM. Each colour way will retail for $200 each and will be available in sizes US6 – US12.
Taking one of the world’s most original and timeless designs, Missoni has yet again taken the Chuck Taylor All Star and turned the traditional silhouette into a work of art, taking their signature zig-zag knit and space-dyed knit and donning it upon the high-top silhouette. Missoni adds a rich, muted tone raschel knit to the first shoe’s upper in hues of tan, olive, black, brown, grey and blue. Accenting the shoe and giving it a stand-out color pop, the shoe includes blue laces, and leather detailing on the tongue, heel pull-tab and lining. The results are highly recognizable yet unique versions of the Chuck Taylor All Star shoe with an ultra-premium look and feel.
For the second shoe, Missoni adds a rich, muted tone, woolen, space-dyed knit to the shoe’s upper in hues of brown, tan, cream, black and orange. Soft, black leather detailing on the tongue, heel pull-tab and lining along with black laces and leather toe caps round out the design and give the shoe a rich and luxurious look and feel.
