With a simple philosophy to construct premium yet functional garments for the urban landscape, Toy Plane reworks classic American silhouettes for the modern man. With founding designer Key Nakano’s background extending a life into the automobile industry as well as being a stunt pilot during his time in the US, the brand naturally draws inspiration from his past whilst bringing classic tailoring to more contemporary fits from a curated selection of premium Japanese fabrics. The First piece to make its way onto our shelves from the range is their Hooded Stan Coat in Beige. The Hooded Stan coat features a long mac styled silhouette with removable hood, and a three front pocket combination before been finished off with smokey pearlescent buttons. Each garment is constructed from Japanese materials and craftsmanship, and is available in store and online now.

Los Angeles natives and leather goods ateliers Parabellum have been hard at work, stitching and combining their signature Bison hides with their contemporary designs. Their latest pieces to hit our shelves come in the form of the Card Case. Available in Black, Brown, Burgundy, and Pumpkin, each card case is the perfect simple wallet, featuring a combination of free range Bison leather, and Kevlar lining for an enduringly strong finish. Each wallet comprises of two card slots, with an additional double card centre pocket before been finished off with a clean hand skived and painted edges. These latest additions to the Parabellum range are now available in store and online, with all of the finer details after the jump.

Our Up There button down shirts shirts have returned to our shelves this season in a series of wardrobe classics. Available in White, and Navy, each Up There Oxford Shirt features a richly textured Japanese cotton oxford across a perfectly tailored button down silhouette. Available in Indigo, each Up There Chambray Shirt features a natural Japanese indigo chambray body. All three shirts feature Japanese craftsmanship, along with a single chest pocket, and button down collar making each shirt the perfect wardrobe staple ready to be buttoned up or down regardless of the occasion at hand. Easter is upon us again and we are taking a few days off to spend with friends and family. Never fear, we love you guys just as much so will be open a few days over the long weekend and we have outlined the specifics below. We hope you all enjoy the time off this weekend, now all that’s left to do is sit back, relax, enjoy some well-earned time with your friends and family, and we’ll see you at either our CBD, or South Melbourne stores over the weekend.

Rounding off the French deliveries for today, we’ve got Le Coq Sportif’s latest rendition of their signature Flash silhouette. Available in a White, Black, and Dynasty Green colour combination, the Flash silhouette combines a slew of premium suedes, and meshes, before been embroidered with Le Coq Sportif’s signature rooster emblem and sat atop and clean white and black outer sole. This classic Flash is now available in store and online alongside the rest of this season’s selections from Le Coq Sportif.

Bleu De Paname are back with some more of their classicly crafted workwear. The Blousson De Pont comes to us with an indigo outershell, constructed from a heavy-duty cotton twill, and lined with a superbly comfortable red mélange jersey. Close it all off with a full length zip and button placket, each jacket features two welt pockets and is finished with a woven logo patch and quality French construction. The Blousson Du Pont is now available both in store and online alongside the rest of this season’s selections from Bleu De Paname

Mr. Mannequin is back for another of his weekly installments of his outfit selections, putting together a layered combination of Chup, Monitaly, Noir, Norse Projects, Yuketen, and our in house shirting range. Kicking it all off, Mr. Mannequin’s got a layer of Norse Projects Rokvvi Scout Jacket in Navy, Monitaly Wool Stripe Cardigan in Charcoal, and our Up There Oxford Shirt in Navy. Continuing onto the lower half of this week’s outfit, Mr. Mannequin’s opted for a pair of Noir’s Jean001 Japanese Selvedge Denim in Raw Indigo, pairing them off with Chup’s Up There Fair Isle Socks in Aqua, and Yuketen’s Hermosa Sneakers in Cognac. New Balance are back at it again, dishing out three of their latest colourways and silhouettes for their women’s range of classics. These latest 574 silhouettes have received the ‘high roller’ treatment with the WL574SPK, WL574SPP, and WL574SPR coming to us in three tonal finishes. All three colourways feature a mixture of premium finishes with a mix of nubuck leathers, accented by patent leathers in their respective Black, Purple, and Red tones. To finish it all off, each pair is lined with a satin leopard, before sitting atop a clean white midsole, and black 574 sole unit. All three colourways are now available in our online store alongside the rest of this season’s selections from both the mens and womens ranges.

Just in case you’ve forgotten, tomorrow marks the release of Adidas Originals’ collaborative Bedwin & The Heartbreakers Stan Smiths. Coming to us in a crisp white leather, the classic Stan Smith silhouette has been layered with minimalist paint splatter across the upper, before been finished with embossed co branding along the heels, woven co branded tongue labels, and red woven silk hell pull tabs, sitting atop the embossed Stan Smith logo. Of course these sit atop a fresh white outersole, along with pinstriped inner soles labeled for left and right feet for added detail, or those of us that struggle in the morning.

Pairs will release from 11am at our Level 1/15 McKillop Street location, with remaining pairs going online from 12pm the same day. Retail is set at $150, with sizes US8-US12 available. Until tomorrow, head on over here to check out the finer details of this release if you haven’t already.

Hancock have delivered a slew of their Vulcanised Articles, and just at the right time, with Melbourne’s skies all wet, dull, and dreary. The first to hit our shelves is Article No. 27 in Mastic Grey, and Summer Yellow. This latest articles features Hancock’s signature rubberized bonded fabrics, with a cotton outer shell bonded with Siphonia Elastica, resulting in a fully water tight shell. Each jacket comes with all of the finer details you’d expect from the label, with extreme care taken cutting each panel by hand piece by piece, and bonding every seam with the press of a finger and metal roller ensuring water stays out, and you stay dry. Finish it all off with a flat laying hood, embossed metal snap buttons, and a hint of Summer Yellow coming through the inner of the jacket, and you’re set for any wet weather to come.
