Welcoming another label to our shelves for the season, with Japanese jewellery specialists Mikia gracing our shelves for the very first time. Inspired by their life journeys and cultural travels, Mikia take these inspirations and craft them into traditional necklaces and bracelets combining, beads, stones, leathers, suedes, and even waxed cottons into individual and distinct masterpieces. The first arrivals from Mikia include the Suede Bandana Necklace which combines Coral Stone beads and Howlite Stone beads with suede and bandana pendants. The Snake Bead Necklaces combine a specially cut glass stone to give a continuous line before braided bandana finishes it all off in Black, Blue, and Orange. The Snake Bead also continue through to their range of bracelets in Black, Blue, and Orange finishes with accenting beads and button clasps. Last but not least their Bandana Bracelets incorporate Navy, Red, and White cotton bandana wrapped and threaded around a strong wire and cotton core and finished with a leather clasp.

The entire range is now available in store at our level 1/15 McKillop street location as well as in our online store in limited numbers.

Clarks Originals have delivered a set of their iconic Wallabee Boots to sit aside our range of Desert Boots for the season. The duo come to us in a minimal black suede finish with the premium suede upper sitting atop an option of either a natural crepe or black crepe sole. The rich black suede is combined with the Wallabees stripped down construction with clean lines moccasin style stitched toebox and Clarks' signature crepe sole unit for natural comfort. Both the Natural and Black soled options are available at our Level 1/15 McKillop Street store as well as online with all of the finer details after the jump.

It's Monday, and Mr. Mannequin is finding his way around town in some of our latest from Converse, Hancock, Norse Projects, Parabellum, and our Premier by Up There range. Kicking it all off this week, Mr. Mannequin's put together a layered combination with Hancock's Article 48 in Wood/Black, pairing it off with our Up There Shirt in Indigo Stripe with his iPad, cash, and cards stashed into his Parabellum Micro Pouch with Arrow Keychain in Black. Heading down to the lower half of this week's outfit, and Mr. Mannequin's opted for a pair of Norse Project's Thomas Cropped Light Wool Pants in Mouse Grey, pairing them off with a freshly laced collaborative Hancock x Converse Jack Purcell Rally in Juice/Ink. We'd like to welcome Christian Kimber's range of footwear to the shelves here at the store with a selection of his Italian crafted sneaker hitting our shelves. Kicking this season's collection off, Kimber presents the Siglo Low Cut Sneaker with an Olive blocked colourway as well as a special Up There exclusive Burgundy. Crafted in florence from an array of premium materials, the Siglo combines a suede and leather upper with a calf leather lining structural padding, and athletic technical inner soles for comfort. The classic court style silhouette takes it's name from a Melbourne institute 'Siglo' drawing inspiration from the venue's subtle yet refined decor, menu, stripped back branding and spectacular views a concept that perfectly portrays Melbourne's lifestyle.

Converse have been at it again, working on another classic rendition of the Jack Purcell worked into it’s new ‘signature’ silhouette. The latest colour way to receive the signature upgrade come to us in a supple waxy black leather, and features all of the finer details of the signature range with two ply duck canvas lining, air zoom inner sole treatment, and heavy duty hardware and construction. Leaving the premium leathers to speak for themselves with tonal stitching gunmetal eyelets, crisp white laces and sole unit before finishing it all off with a blue yet distinct smile upon the toecap. These badminton classics are now available exclusively at our 208 Little Collins Street location as well as online.

We’d like to welcome Oakley’s range of limited finished Frogskins to the shelves here at the store. A try classic in the eyes of Oakley, the original Frogskins were the first shades to feature a dual lens. Crafted from lightweight hand made acetate frames the frog skins come to us in two variations, the original series in Matte Black with either Black or Ruby polarised lenses, Polished Clear, and Polished Black whilst the LX series come to us in Grey Tortoise and Green Tortoise finishes. Each pair come standard with a three point fit for comfort and lens alignment, lightweight hand crafted frames, durable flexible hinge mechanisms for fit, and a series of lens finishes that coat Oakley’s signature six base curved lenses. The complete range from Oakley is now available in store at both McKillop Street and Coventry Street locations, as well as online.

American denim connoisseurs 3sixteen have delivered their latest denim cut with the CT-100X and along with it an array of their Heavyweight T-shirt Packs. The CT-100X blends two of 3sixteen's cuts with the classic straight and slim tapered merging into the one silhouette. The result, a high rise, and taper from the knee downwards  set across their signature custom woven indigo denim from Kuroki Mills in Japan before been crafted in the United States. Their Heavyweight T-Shirt Packs come to us in Black, Grey, Indigo, and White and feature a heavyweight cotton body constructed in the united states, dyed from natural dyes and stitched together using 3sixteen's signature never-sag collar. It's Monday morning and that can mean one of two things, the weekend's over, and Mr. Mannequin's back to grace your screens with another array of his weekly selections from Christian Kimber, Larose, Monitaly, and Needles. Kicking it all off this week with a layered combination of Needles' Rebuilt 7 Cut Shirt in Indigo Dye, paired off with Monitaly's Vancloth Deck Parka in Black, and Larose's Burlap Baseball Cap in Forest Green. Heading down to the lower half of this week's outfit and Mr. Mannequin's slid into a fresh pair of Monitaly Cone Selvedge Indigo Denim and laced up a pair of our latest delivery of Christian Kimber with our exclusive Burgundy Siglo Sneaker to finish the outfit off. New Balance have reworked one of their classics, taking to the 1500 silhouette with a clean and modernised 're-rengineered' variation. The MD1500DG and MD1500DS come to us in a tonal Beige, and Black with the reworked upper slimming down and streamlining the series of panel, to a seamless toebox. Both pairs are accented with a natural leather heel wrap which runs through to the lining before been finished off with tonal embroidered detailing similar to it's classic counterpart. The re-engineered upper sits atop a crisp white re-tooled sole unit which looks identical to the original, switched out for REVlite technology to lighten the load. Converse’s First String division and Missoni have put their heads together yet again this season to deliver a duo of collaborative silhouettes with the Chuck Taylor 1970’s Ox and Deck Star getting a makeover. Both silhouettes take on an intricate upper wrapped in Missoni’s signature woven fabrics. Both the Deck Star and 1970’s Chuck Taylor feature richly textured oatmeal white base weaving cotton rayon and flax with earthy golden and deep burgundy to create a distinct pattern. Finished off with a crisp white sole unit, before heading inside the shoe to a heavy duty canvas lining and terracotta inner soles with co-branding.

Both the Chuck Taylor 1970’s Ox and Deck Star collaborative efforts will be releasing in store this Saturday the 18th of July at our Level 1/15 McKillop Street store from 11am, with any remaining pairs releasing online from 12pm the same day. Sizes US5 through to US12 including half sizes with retail set at $240. Numbers are limited so remember to get in quick to avoid missing out!
