I'm sure you are all - by now - used to a blog showing off the ageing process of Pete Le Chic's signature Jean0001. But I don't really care, and will show off mine anyway.

I toughed out a size 2 over a year ago - blue balls ever since - but couldn't be happier with the current result. Strong whiskers, dense combs and a unique heavy line on my left knee create what I consider 'living' art.

These are currently being repaired - for enhanced character - and in the meantime I have upgraded to a size 3, i'll let you know in a year how they react differently.

Norse Projects and Pro Keds have come together to re-work a true classic. First released in 1972, the Royal Master soon became the most well known basketball silhouette from Pro-Keds. Revered for its high performance and unquestionable style, the Royal Master's legacy was shaped by some of the greatest players in the game, with Nate Archibald, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and Pete Maravich been some of the many to give the shoe credibility both on and off the court. 

Norse Projects have taken the classic silhouette and given it the contemporary treatment, presenting a stripped down version of the low-cut royal masters in three colourways. Available in Dark Navy, White Smoke, and Gold Oak, each colourway draws its inspiration from prominent elements of everyday life in Norse Projects’ home town Copenhagen, the ocean, the beach, and the town itself. Each colourway features a soft pigskin suede upper, co-branded cork inner sole, premium leather lining, and aniline dyed leather heel tab. Available in store and online now! Norse Projects have teamed up with Danish rainwear specialists Elka to produce a new silhouette to accompany their ongoing series of raincoats. The Parka Jacket available in Black and Orange takes the classic raincoat, and adds extra length in the body, alongside four new military style pockets, whilst still possessing all of traditional raincoat features.

Constructed using Elka’s heat sealed technology, each jacket uses snap and zipped front closures, drawcord hood, adjustable cuffs and a breathable lining, ensuring you stay dry regardless of what the weather is throwing at you.

Taking cues from the traditional French naval uniforms of yesteryear, Norse Projects have delivered two of their ‘nautical striped’ knits from this seasons range.

Available in both Dark Navy/Offwhite and inverted Offwhite/Dark Navy colourways, the Folke Knit features European construction, medium weight cotton and linen blend body, solid stripes from the chest to the hem, and Norse Projects’ signature label on the left sleeve.

This season’s range from Californian based artisans Yuketen has started to arrive. As each silhouette makes its way onto the selves, we’ll be giving you an in-depth look into each of the individual pieces.

Starting off this season we’ve got Yuketen’s Maine Guide Boot. Available in Quatro, this handcrafted low cut boot features a multi coloured ‘rough out’ suede upper along with welted Vibram outsole, metal eyelets, and leather laces. Crafted using only the finest of materials, the Maine Guide Boot really has to been seen and worn to fully appreciate the work that goes into the making of the shoe.

Mr. Mannequin is back for another installment of outfit of the week. With a few colder days ahead of us he’s taken full advantage of our new deliveries from this season to create the perfect outfit.

Starting the outfit off Mr. Mannequin’s chosen to combine the heavier weighted Norse Projects Villads Heavy Shirt in Dark Navy with Bedwin & The Heartbreakers’ down filled reversible ‘Fripp’ Vest in Indigo Chambray and Black. His selection of subtle indigo tones are accented by the combination of the Aros Heavy Chino Pant in Army Green from Norse Projects, and the multiple suede panels of the Quatro Maine Guide Boot from Yuketen.

Inventory Magazine has finally found its way onto the shelves here at Up There. The Magazine reflects on some of the most inspiring and talented individuals in menswear, along with products, places, and breath taking photography that accompanies each and every article.

Issue five of the magazine delves into the man behind Stone Island Carlo Rivetti, and self-proclaimed denim expert Mike Harris. Complementing these cover stories are editorials from Missoni, Mos Def, Nepenthes, Nigel Cabourn, and Eddie Bauer. After delivering us their Mega Torsion Climacools, Adidas Originals have dropped two pieces of this season’s outerwear. Modelled after David Beckham's favourite crew sweatshirt, the Crew Sweat in Core Energy Orange features a 100% cotton French terry body, giving the crew a vintage feel, along with exposed stitching, ribbed accents, and a very unique cross yoke construction. This comes along with the Field Jacket in Dark Shale, a contemporary military style full button jacket that uses a lightweight cotton ripstop, and features contrasting welted zip-close pockets.

We’d like to formally introduce Adidas Originals to our stable of brands here at Up There. For our first delivery from the brand, Adidas Originals and David Beckham have teamed up to give the once iconic Mega Torsion Flex Climacool running shoe the contemporary treatment.

The Mega Torsion Flex Climacool features Climacool technology ensuring that your feet stay cool and dry, while the Mega Torsion Flex outsole adds support, responsiveness and comfort. Available in Warning Orange and Black, each shoe’s mesh upper features subtle contrasts of blue or white that can be seen on the Three Stripes branding, as well as two-toned laces, and leather inlay sole.

As apart of their ongoing series of collaborations with American work wear specialists Dickies, Bedwin & The Heartbreakers have delivered us their ‘Jesse’ pant. Available in Dark Navy and Khaki, the ‘Jesse’ pant is the perfect example of Japanese Americana, turning the traditional Dickies work pant into a contemporary staple, by cropping the length, tapering the fit, and adding their minimalistic branding.
