Friday the 3rd of May marks the launch of the collaborative efforts between Converse and Inventory Magazine with their One Star Academies. To celebrate the release we’re hosting a special launch night to release both colourways of the silhouette from 6pm at our 224 Clarendon Street location at South Melbourne.

Always walking in the shadow of Converses more popular models the Chuck Taylor, and Jack Purcell, Inventory have unearthed this classic 1970’s silhouette from the Converse archives. Paying homage to the under-appreciated, and yes sometimes forgotten about One Star Academy with two supple suede colourways of Antique White and Athletic Navy. Of Course there are the finer details that can’t be forgotten, underneath these tonal classics sit a solid white midsole that encapsulates a gum sole, as well as a rich and creamy leather lining and inner sole.

Both Colourways will be available in limited numbers in store from 6pm on the 3rd of may with remaining pairs releasing online from 12am. So come and join us for a few drinks courtesy of Mountain Goat Breweries, and grab a pair of these contemporary classics while you can. We’ll see you all there!
