The First String Converse team have come together yet again to craft a Japanese centric silhouette with the Shibori Jack Purcell. Taking to the classic Jack Purcell upper, each pair is specially dyed before been placed onto its signature sole unit using a traditional Japanese dying method. Each canvas upper is meticulous series of binds, twists, and folds, in which the natural indigo dyes take to the uncompressed segments of the fabrics to form the patterns you see before you. This unique mix of rich indigo stripes is contrasted against the undyed areas of the natural canvas base. To finish it all off, add blue piping on the edges, a blue heel tab, blue and white laces, and white stitching complete this latest first string release.
