With summer finally setting in, the days are looking to be warm and sunny, and Mr. Mannequin’s prepared himself for the slew of good weather ahead in the week’s outfit of the week.

Starting the outfit off Mr. Mannequin’s chosen to pair Tantum’s Paisley Pocket T-shirt in Heather Grey, with Bleu De Paname’s Fatigue Short in Vert D’eau. Adding red accents to his outfit with New Balance M1500CSW and our very own Monkey’s Fist in White With Red Flecks. Finishing the outfit off with all of his everyday carry inside his Superior Labor Market Bag in Brown.

Japanese brand Superior Labor has delivered us yet another timeless piece, with their rendition of the classic work shirt. As always, the brand has stayed true to their motto “We take pride in craftsmanship, and never skimp on time and effort”, with a tremendous amount of care and thought evident in the construction of each of their shirts.

Each Washed Denim Shirt features Japanese construction with chain stitch and twin needle detailing, pen pocket, and accenting brown buttons, that all sit atop a rinse washed denim with boucle-esque white flecks throughout. It’s that time of year again, where our shelves are full of the newest collections from your favourtie Up There brands. With so many options from all our brands we have put together a three-piece lookbook to showcase a variety of the different styles represented in the store.

OUTFIT OF THE WEEK: 31/10/2011

Mr. Mannequin is back and ready for action with this week’s installment of outfit of the week. With a slew of good weather sending some sunshine our way, Mr. Mannequin has thrown together an outfit to not only prepare us for the warmer weather, but also to showcase his love for the hand crafted.

Starting the outfit off Mr. Mannequin has chosen the Superior Labor B.D. Oxford Shirt in Sax Blue handcrafted in Japan this staple oxford emphasises quality from the fabric down to the detailing of every last stitch. Unbuttoned and ready for some sun he’s opted for Tantum’s Desert Tiger Stripe Camo Tee in White, featuring an accented pocket hand sewn in their Los Angeles workshop. Sitting alongside the top two layers Mr. Mannequin chose to go with the lightweight Noir Jean 001 in Grey, handmade in Japan the 10.5OZ rinsed wash denim features a blue selvedge and is the perfect weight for those warmers days. Saving the best for last, Mr Mannequin tops the outfit off with a splash of colour from New Balance with their English crafted M1500PSW in Purple.

Our first items of clothing from Superior Labor are here, and these BD Shirts make a hell of a first impression. The tag lines ‘We take pride in craftsmanship and never skimp on time and effort’ and ‘The Garment to spend many years with’ meant that we had very high expectations before these shirts arrived, and the Blue & White BD shirts have definitely met these expectations.
