With summer finally setting in, the days are looking to be warm and sunny, and Mr. Mannequin’s prepared himself for the slew of good weather ahead in the week’s outfit of the week.

Starting the outfit off Mr. Mannequin’s chosen to pair Tantum’s Paisley Pocket T-shirt in Heather Grey, with Bleu De Paname’s Fatigue Short in Vert D’eau. Adding red accents to his outfit with New Balance M1500CSW and our very own Monkey’s Fist in White With Red Flecks. Finishing the outfit off with all of his everyday carry inside his Superior Labor Market Bag in Brown.

It’s that time of year again, where our shelves are full of the newest collections from your favourtie Up There brands. With so many options from all our brands we have put together a three-piece lookbook to showcase a variety of the different styles represented in the store.

Part one brings to you pieces from our newest brand Bedwin & The Heartbreakers as well as pieces from our regulars Converse, Noir, Norse Projects and Yuketen just to name a few. Please enjoy the images that bring Up There to life.

Readying ourselves for the warmer weather has never been easier with the self proclaimed bucket hat expertise of the good people of Tantum Los Angeles. Keeping the sun off your face with two styles this season we’ve got the Union Station Hat in Hickory Stripe Denim, and the Cotton Twill Safari Hat in Burgundy.

Reminiscent of early conductors hats the Union Station Bucket Hat features the traditional pleats, crowns, heavy cotton twill, and hickory stripes of yesteryear with the circular brim of a contemporary bucket hat and the final touch of the red, white, and blue Grosgrain ribbon across the back of the hat band. Whilst the Cotton Twill Safari Hat features a contemporary twist on it’s traditional counterpart with 6 panel construction, 2-inch brim, metal eyelet vents, and fabric covered button upon the top. As with all of Tantum’s products both hats are all hand crafted in their Los Angeles workshop and are available limited numbers alongside their pocket t-shirts in store and online now.

Mr. Mannequin is back and ready for action with this week’s installment of outfit of the week. With a slew of good weather sending some sunshine our way, Mr. Mannequin has thrown together an outfit to not only prepare us for the warmer weather, but also to showcase his love for the hand crafted.

Starting the outfit off Mr. Mannequin has chosen the Superior Labor B.D. Oxford Shirt in Sax Blue handcrafted in Japan this staple oxford emphasises quality from the fabric down to the detailing of every last stitch. Unbuttoned and ready for some sun he’s opted for Tantum’s Desert Tiger Stripe Camo Tee in White, featuring an accented pocket hand sewn in their Los Angeles workshop. Sitting alongside the top two layers Mr. Mannequin chose to go with the lightweight Noir Jean 001 in Grey, handmade in Japan the 10.5OZ rinsed wash denim features a blue selvedge and is the perfect weight for those warmers days. Saving the best for last, Mr Mannequin tops the outfit off with a splash of colour from New Balance with their English crafted M1500PSW in Purple.

Un-phased by the poor weather that is looming over us, Mr Mannequin is back and ready to combat the on again off again rainfall this week has to offer us. Ensuring he stays dry when out and about, Mr Mannequin has entrusted the heat sealed seams of Norse Projects’ Elka Raincoat in Yellow, whilst pairing with layers from Monitaly’s Triple Needle Shirt in Chambray, Tantum’s Leopard Print Pocket Tee in Black, and Noir’s Rinsed Wash Selvedge Denim in Khaki to stay warm. Mr Mannequin tops the outfit off by bringing out a pair of Converse Straight Shooter Spec Hi’s in Black, to not only to keep with the chambray and triple needle detailing of the outfit but to also disprove the theories of mixing suede with wet weather.

I was lucky enough to pick up 1 of 3 Yuketen Triangle backpacks (perk of the blog!) last week, and I must admit... I'm in love. Now, I'm engaged, but if I were to commit adultery it would be with this backpack. The woolen outer coupled with the red canvas inner makes for one beautiful looking bag.

And the details, dont forget the details! A huge metal ring connects the highest quality leather straps to the bag, and the addition of a Yuketen style coaster stitched on the front completes the look.

Inside we have room for a laptop (or according to Yuki, a magazine holder), a front hidden pocket for small goods and an added black pocket system for pens/phone/loose change.

As we enter the early days of Spring, and Summer on the not too distant horizon, Mr Mannequin’s got nothing but sunshine on his mind, setting out to make this weeks outfit one for the coming months. Combining Norse Projects’ Anton Selvedge Long Sleeve Shirt in Molten Lava with Monitaly’s Camp Shorts in Navy, Yuketen’s Canoe Moc in Light Blue, and Tantum’s Reversible Mountain Hat in Red Chambray and Floral Print Mr Mannequin has certainly got us covered for the months ahead!
