With Friday night’s launch party in our rear vision mirrors, we had a chance to take Losers’ designer Motoki ‘Sneakerwolf’ Takenaka, and brand manager Thian Pillay out for a few shots, stepping in for Mr. Mannequin for this week’s outfit of the week.

Never seeing ‘Sneakerwolf’ outside of his signature white tee/navy jacket ‘uniform’, he took it upon himself to recreate his signature look with pieces from our range. Putting together a combination of Bleu De Paname’s Veste De Chauffagiste in Navy, Norse Projects’ Ketel Zip Hood in Dark Navy Melange and Watch Beanie in Dark Navy, and Deluxe’s collaborative Hanes Crewneck T-shirt in White. Heading down to the lower half of his outfit He’s gone for a pair of Norse Projects’ Aros Heavy Chino in Dark Navy, and carry covered by Yuketen’s Triangle Backpack in Navy. Last but not least, the key piece to this week’s outfit a pair of Losers’ Schooler Classics in Elephant.

Not forgetting about Thian’s outfit he’s combined Norse Projects’ collaborative Oi Polloi Oddberger Parka in Hickory Green with Ontour's Lisse Knit in Blueberry, and Superior Labor Washed B.D. Shirt in Off White`. Adding some accessories with a pair of Raf Simons’ Aviator Sunglasses in Black/Nickel, with Bodega’s Tweed Five Panel Cap in Grey. Continuing on with his outfit, he’s opted for a fresh pair of Noir’s Jean001 Broken Twill Selvedge Denim in Indigo, with a pair of Losers’ Signature Woodlands Camouflage Star Schoolers. Not just your average Schooler, this custom Schooler Lo from Losers comes to Up There exclusively in a combination Camouflage Canvas, and Embroidered Star finish. The turquoise embroidery popping out from the traditional olive woodlands camouflage sets this Schooler apart from the rest. Finished off with supple olive suede accents and olive toe strap, and we’ve got one standout silhouette available exclusively at Up There Store at tonight’s launch party and online from tomorrow. This season, Losers have given their signature shark silhouette a makeover. The teeth are back out, freshly sharpened, and shining in all their glory alongside a combination of leather, suede, and canvas. Available in Chestnut Brown, and Wet Black, both colourways show homage to the traditional dress shoe, with hole punched brogue detailing across the leather toecaps. The mostly tonal uppers are offset by the textures of the premium materials before been finished off with a pop of red in the sharks teeth and heel. These will be available in store this Friday June 14th at the launch party, and will hit the online store from June 15th.

With the launch this Friday night over at our South Melbourne store, we thought we’d introduce you to a few of the latest silhouettes we’ll be releasing from Japanese brand Losers.  

Making its debut for the season is the Too Eazy, the long distant relative to the Transporter, a silhouette that made its debut in their first range. The Too Eazy takes on a similar mid cut/chukka silhouette and paneling. Covered in supple premium suede, the Too Eazy comes to us in a Dark ‘Hanada’ Navy, and Wolf ‘Okami’ Grey colourways. On the outside it may seem like a regular Transporter, but the Too Eazy is harboring a hidden expandable strap making for a quicker getaway when putting on and taking off. Look forward to these hitting the shelves this Friday June 14th and online store from June 15th.
