Shirt jackets, overshirts or the dreaded shacket — all cut from the same cloth and equally useful. There's so many instances you find yourself in where a jacket is too heavy but you need something to throw over the top. The shirt jacket is the unsung hero of outerwear, never getting the glory afforded to other wardrobe pieces but still showing up when you need it most.
Like any EG piece this comes sporting a good amount of pocket space. The cloth is a jacquard woven plaid named "old plaid" which probably has a story but we didn't bother to ask.
